ALTHINGI

At Ulfljotsvatn Scout Centre Althingi will be held. We will gather and put up camp and relax for few days.

There will be scout cafes, Viking village, international Carnival, camp fires, live music and loads and loads of FUN! You can chill, exchange badges, take a nice bath in the lake etc. During the day there will be array of creative activities, and exiting topics at round tables. In the evenings camp fires will be held, you can go and listen to music or make music, enjoy the midnight sun, make friends...

Ulfljotsvatn Scout Centre is situated by Lake Ulfljotsvatn, which is located by Lake Thingvallavatn in the Southwest of Iceland. There has been settlement at Lake Ulfljotsvatn since the Viking age when Ulfljotur decided to own this corner of Iceland. Much folklore is connected to this tranquil place, and some say elves and trolls live here and there. Scouts have gathered at Lake Ulfljotsvatn for over 60 years and we will take over during Roverway 2009.
